Could I ask matomo not only record site search keyword but also record pageview of result page?

Hi, we want to not only record site search keyword but also record pageview of result page. Any suggestions?

Hi,

I think Matomo considers the search as a special case of a pageview and there is therefore no need to duplicate the tracking.

I’m looking for the solution to this, as well. It’s OK not to see the duplication of site search and pageview in reports like the visitor logs. But I wanted to create a goal for using the site search, and without a pageview, my goal isn’t being triggered.

Have you considered to track any changes that might apply on your site when a users triggered the internal site search?
If a search request is recognized you could push manually a goal and or a virtual pageview if required.
