I just installed Piwik yesterday and today I found two entries in the log. One of them has the location_provider set to “ne.jp”.
Perhaps there should be some tweak in the code added to correctly process this and similar almost-top-level domains? “.ne.jp” is like “.net”; it is almost impossible to be or have any relation to the actual provider, network, or company/organization.
Or perhaps I’m expecting too much (PHP scripts shouldn’t take too much CPU time).
