Checking average time on site for mobile visitors

Hello

I can’t seem to find a way to check the average visit duration for device type. I’m talking about an average taken from all visits in a given day / date range. Something like:

Desktop users: 4 min 45 sec
Mobile users: 3 min 52 sec

I’m more than certain such an option must exist as it is a basic on to have, but can’t seem to find it. Any help or direction would be appreciated.

In theory this is possible using segmentation, but there currently is a bug with segmenting by device type: Fix segmentation using 'deviceType' segment · Issue #3989 · matomo-org/device-detector · GitHub

This will be fixed in Piwik 2.0. Stay tuned!

I manually created a segment for users with operating system - IPH, AND, IPD, IPA or BLB.

Seems to do the job until the bug mentioned above is fixed…
