Change X- and Y-Axis font color?

Hi,
Is it possible to change the font color of the x- and y-axis in the core files easily? Or do have to change the template / css files for that?

what’s the motivation behind this?

Actually i want to change the font color to the background color. I dont want to see the x- and y-axis labels.
