Hi Matomo team,

I have raised a request for this in the github, but would like to follow-up on this here.

Category based retrieval not available in Dev. API - SearchKeyWords

It is logical to try to retrieve the data from Matomo DB using the API for a specific Category,

Actions.getSiteSearchKeywords (idSite, period, date, segment = ‘’)

When I am tracking using the correct Category.

piwikTracker.trackSiteSearch(keyword, category, searchCount)

Please help with fixing this gap/bug, so the keywords data can be retrieved based on the category.

Am surprised to see no responses in the forums. Somebody check these regularly. Sorry for asking, wanted to check if I have to depend on Github for the issues.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for your response. While this seems to be an enhancement, this is actually a bug that needs to be addressed. When there is a provision to capture the keywords by category there should be a provision to retrieve the same by it.
