Can you install backend in one location and tracking location on a sub domain?

Hi all,
I would like the backend to be on a subfolder of my domain (.ie… domain.com/piwik) and the tracking js to be located on a subdomain (.i.e track.domain.com/piwik.js)

Is this possible? Any ideas on how to go about doing it?

Yes just do it, it will work OK!
