can i put matomo tracking code into google tagmanager ?

i try to matomo tracking code into google tagmanager html box,

but it seems no effect,is it normal ?

Yes you normally can put your Matomo tracking code into your Google Tag Manager container,
just try to publish a new version of the container !
Is the matomo tag visible in your Google Tag Manager preview tool ?

do you meam sepaate container ?
because i try to add fb, GA and matomo tracking code into one container,
and GA can be detected well,
but it seems matomo does not show the newest visitor.

Hi Jaiisk,

No problem, but with this configuration, you should use a cookie banner due to Google Tag Manager usage :wink:
