Browser version (or family) evolution displays irrelevant data

I want to suggest a way browser data is shown;

For example, let’s say I want to look at the users who are running (either stuck with or too lazy to update) IE9.

If I look at the evolution of the row year-over-year what I see is an graph that shows me the number of visitors running said browser.

What I want to see (need even) is the percentage of visitors runing a specific browser platform as compared to the total number of visitors (admitedly a more complex calculation).

The current data is, essentially no good for trending because we don’t get a meaninful figure.

The evolution should represent the share of, not the total number of, users runnign said browser.

I hope I’m being clear. The software rocks either way!

Thanks.
