I’m assuming the best route to go for tracking a goal not located on my own server would be placing a tracking pixel, but I was curious as to the “when user visits a certain page” goal, can that page be on someone else’s site? I’m assuming it would have to be a page within my own site already tracked by Piwik, right?
I believe that this should work even if the page is on a different website. Please test it and report if it does not work as it would be a bug.
I wound up getting the Image Tracking to work throught he API. Seemed to do the trick.
