Best practices for coming soon pages

Hello,

First time here.

I’m wondering what are the best practices when comes to coming soon pages? I would like to setup Matomo from the beginning, but I’m not sure if having Matomo on my coming soon page will “mess up” with my analytics code, once I have the production website up and running. In the future, I want to be able to differentiate the data from my coming soon page and the production website.

Hi,

I guess the easiest solution is tracking into two different sites in Matomo.
Otherwise an added custom dimention would also help you to segment on it.
