Hi!

I noticed a strange behavior and now i’m not sure how i should handle the situation.

I did a “One-Click-Update” in Piwik version 1.8.1 with the goal to update to 1.8.2.
I got the message, that the file settings were wrong and i have to change the permission that my webserver could write in that directory. I changed the permission: So far - so good. :slight_smile:

Then i pressed the “back” button in my browser and the version number in the upper right corner showed me 1.8.2. At once! Immediately!

So now i wonder if Piwik is really so super fast, or if only the version number changed.
How can i detect the current Piwi version?
