Automatic cleaning up in tmp?

I’ve noticed that the tmp folder doesn’t get cleaned automaticly, so I’m setting up a config file for systemd-tmpfiles.
what’s a reasonable maximum age for anything in /tmp?
is it ok to clean up the whole content on boot, will the required subdirectores be recreated when they are needed?

cheers
MH

Everything in the tmp directory (including the folder structure) can be recreated at any time (apart of course the Matomo log)

There might be something going weird if you delete tmp/climulti during archiving, but when you clean it on boot that shouldn’t matter.
