Are the plugin informations really trustable?

Hey ho,

i have a quite easy questions:
Are the Informations about the plugins the user has installed really trustable? I mean may there be some reasons the informations are not 100 % correct?

Because i am running a website in south america and i dont have any information about the spread of flash. The header of the page is using flash and now i discovered that more than half of the users dont have flash on their computers (says piwik). So its time to change the header into a image or something?

The plugin detection doesn’t work on Internet explorer which is a big limitation. We will change the display to percentage see http://dev.piwik.org/trac/ticket/1125
