Hi,

I am getting this error when I log inot thw admin area ofg piwik:

API returned an error: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1104 The SELECT would examine more than MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows; check your WHERE and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET MAX_JOIN_SIZE=# if the SELECT is okay at Pdo.php:234

My ISP support said: “This is caused by the MySQL query that is used to gather data from your database. IYou would have to get a developer to make sure that the SELECT command that is mentioned there is configured correctly according to how the script is using it.”.

Is there are known fix for this? What ideas do you have that I can try to get this back up and working.

please upgrade to latest Piwik where this bug should be fixed. if you still have the issue with latest piwik please create a bug report at: Issues · matomo-org/piwik · GitHub and include the full error message
