I am fairly new with piwik. I want to use it in Germany, which means, I will have to use the anonymizeIP-plugin. In context of the FAQ I read that a heuristic is employed for recognition of users that do not have a cookie. This heuristic was said to take the IP-address into account. Can somebody tell me, if this heuristic will use the anonymized IP-Adress or the full version?
And can you help me to find the heuristic in the code?

The heuristic uses the full IP but it is combined with other data and then hashed.
