5 hours difference on Piwik report

Hi everyone,

I think this issue was discussed before but I could not find a final solution. There is a 5 hours difference between the time a new access is reported by Piwik and the real time. I am located on the EST timezone. The server is in PST but I changed the timezone on the Apache .htaccess file as:

SetEnv TZ America/New_York

My Piwik report is shifted 5 hours ahead.
The only setting to change timezone is in Piwik->Settings->Websites->“Default Time zone for new websites”. That one is set as New York time.

Does that mean that I can set the time zone only for new websites? How about websites that I am already tracking. Should I delete them and start tracking again with a new tag?

I am running Piwik 1.0. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

You can change the timezone on already existing websites. See the Websites panel and scroll to the right.

That fixed the problem even though it was a little bit unintuitive for me.

Go to Setting -> Websites. In the table click the link under Time Zone. Change the time-zone, then save the changes by clicking the green circle on the right of the table.
